Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Social Media Specialist located in Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for creating engaging social media content, managing and executing content calendars and bringing your expertise to the agency's campaigns.

What you'll be doing:

  • Creating and executing monthly content calendars for brands

  • Community management and serve as the voice for our clients

  • Creative ideation and trend tracking for the next big thing on social media

  • Shooting video and photography for our brand activations

  • Performance reporting

  • Assist with administrative tasks related to the social media portfolio


Requirements:

  • Experience using social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram YouTube, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest and Meta.

  • Based in the Toronto area

  • Experience in social media analytics and reporting

  • Creative, self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage deadlines

  • 2+ years of proven experience of social media management

  • Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software (e.g. CapCut, Premiere Pro)

  • A portfolio of content you've created

  • Comfortable being scrappy and quick reacting to trends

  • A plus: A personal social media profile with regular posting and good engagement

  • A huge plus: has experience with videography/editing
